Jack Berry – RT (ARRT) (MR) (CT) (R)

Jack completed his initial coursework at the Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio, Texas. He is licensed in three imaging modalities: radiology, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance. He is certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and has continued to update his skills by attending training sessions in Eugene, Oregon; Las Vegas, Nevada; Kirkland, Washington; and San Francisco, California.

He recently attended a seminar titled “Kanal’s MR Physics – and How to Apply It.” The conference covered topics ranging from basic physics of nuclear magnetic resonance to MR safety to nephrogenic systemic fibrosis.

Jack has more than 32 years of imaging experience – including 8 years specializing in MRI and 16 in CT – and has been the Director of Imaging Services at Pacific Imaging Center since 2006.

Laura Smith

Laura Smith – BSRT (ARRT) (MR) (R)

Laura has 24 years of professional experience: 17 in MRI, seven in CT, and five in nuclear medicine and mammography.

She attended Western Wisconsin Technical Institute in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology degree. She later completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology MRI program at Boise State University. Laura previously worked as Chief MRI Technologist at Siker Medical Imaging & Intervention in Portland, Oregon.

Laura is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is a member of the Society of Magnetic Resonance Technologists and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. She has extensive training in anatomy and pathology and is listed as a contributor to the book Sectional Anatomy for Imaging Professionals, released in 2006 by Mosby Publishing Company.
