Dr. Turner Voted Best Physician

William Turner, M.D., of Longview Orthopedic Associates was voted “Best Physician” in a recent poll of readers conducted by the Daily News.

“The surgeons and the entire staff at Longview Orthopedic Associates appreciate the opportunity to serve Cowlitz County,” Turner said. “We’re committed to providing area residents with the highest level of orthopedic care.”

Dr. Turner joined Longview Orthopedic Associates in 1988 after completing a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma, where he served as chief resident during his fifth year of training.

He has introduced several modern techniques to Cowlitz County, performing the first arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction and arthroscopic shoulder surgeries at St. John Hospital. He has performed more than 7,500 surgeries during his career.

Dr. Turner is a lifelong supporter of high school and college athletics. He has served on the YMCA board and volunteered his services for several local high school sports teams.
