LOA Sponsors Cowlitz Black Bears

Longview Orthopedic Associates is one of several tenants at Pacific Surgical Institute that have signed on as sponsors of the Cowlitz Black Bears for the 2012 season.

In May, Barb Sudar of Longview Urology learned that one of the team’s major sponsors was backing out at the last minute. She encouraged Longview Urology, Longview Orthopedic Associates, Lower Columbia Pathology, and Longview Radiology to step in.

Under the banner The Best Care Is Local Care, the group purchased a large outfield sign and agreed to host a number of game nights throughout the season.

The group will be out in force for upcoming contests on July 5th, July 22nd, July 29th, and August 5th.

Longview Physical & Sports Therapy is also a Black Bears sponsor. LPST provides game coverage, with an athletic trainer onsite, and also handles the team’s physical therapy services.

The Black Bears are members of the West Coast League, which also includes the Bellingham Bells, Bend Elks, Corvallis Knights, Walla Walla Sweets, Wenatchee AppleSox, Kitsap BlueJackets, Kelowna Falcons, and Klamath Falls Gems. Teams are comprised of collegiate players from around the U.S.
