LOA Welcomes Hand Specialist Anthony Lauder
Board certified hand specialist Anthony J. Lauder, M.D. has joined the staff at Longview Orthopedic Associates and will begin seeing patients in October.
His special interests include traumatic and post-traumatic reconstruction of the wrist, as well as hand and wrist arthroplasty. He also performs minimally invasive decompression of the carpal tunnel.

Dr. Lauder completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Washington’s Department of Orthopaedics in 2006 and has lectured and written extensively about hand and wrist injuries and conditions.
He worked as an assistant professor of hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine since 2006.
Dr. Lauder has co-authored nearly a dozen books dealing with the hand and wrist. His writing has also been published in the Journal of Hand Surgery, Skeletal Radiology, Spine, Foot & Ankle International, and the Journal of Arthroplasty.
After earning his undergraduate degree at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Dr. Lauder graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 2000 and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Creighton University/University of Nebraska Health Foundation in 2005.
He is a member of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Lauder is a baseball fan and also enjoys cooking, running, scuba diving, weight-lifting, and reading. He is married and has three children.
