Longview Physical & Sports Therapy Adds Staff
Longview Physical & Sports Therapy (LPST) has announced that it will add two physical therapists to its staff. Dr. John Kowalski and Dr. Nichole Winiger, a 2002 graduate of Mark Morris High School, will begin seeing patients in mid-August.

Dr. John Kowalski
Kowalski completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) in 2007 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy – also at Marquette – in 2009.
“I’ve very excited to begin my professional career at Longview PT,” Kowalski said. “They have a very experienced and accomplished staff, so it’s an excellent opportunity for me to develop my skills.”
John’s clinical experience includes working at the University of Chicago Medical Center (Chicago, Illinois); Five Corner’s Physical Therapy (Cedarburg, Wisconsin); Aurora Lakeland Medical Centers (Elkhorn, Wisconsin); and VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (Ann Arbor, Michigan).
He previously served as fundraising coordinator for Georgia State-Marquette Challenge in Milwaukee. His hobbies include biking and coaching.
Winiger earned a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) at Washington State University in 2006 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009.

Dr. Nichole Winiger
Her clinical experience includes stints at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center (Lewiston, Idaho); Kaiser Permanente (Portland, Oregon); Walton Rehabilitation (Augusta, Georgia); and Oregon Health Science University (Portland, Oregon).
“LPST is a great situation for me,” Winiger said. “I’ll be close to family and working in a sound clinical environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.”
Nichole enjoys snow skiing, running, and hiking, as well as tap, jazz, and ballet dancing. She plans to assist with the Mark Morris cheerleading squad this winter and will also volunteer at High Step Dance Academy.
Longview Physical & Sports Therapy is located at 625 9th Avenue at Pacific Surgical Institute. LPST offers comprehensive orthopedic and manual therapy, sports and recreation injury treatment, and work-related/industrial injury treatment.
