Dave Knoeppel and Ed Earnest of Longview Physical & Sports Therapy helped local football officials get the season off to a great start.

In August, Knoeppel and Earnest conducted a clinic that included stretching and injury prevention for officials. They also provided information about the correct approach for treating the “downed athlete.” Nearly 50 area officials attended the clinic.

“We received a lot of positive comments from the officials,” Knoeppel said.
